"More is better" might be the most expensive myth in the entire supplement industry — and in some cases, it's not just expensive, it's genuinely risky. It's an easy belief to fall into, because bigger numbers feel like better value and the front of every bottle is competing to show you the biggest one. But the relationship between dose and benefit isn't a straight line that keeps climbing. For most nutrients it flattens out, and for some it turns and heads in the wrong direction. Water-soluble vitamins: past a point, you're paying for nothing
